| | "Riverbottom" Hawg Slop Tube is HERE!! The new color created by Jeff Little is now here in all three sizes. After getting hammered with requests for the tube in all sizes we have listened to you, and we now have them in 2.5, 3.25 and 4 inch sizes. Jeff created this tube over time while doing a lot of research on coming up with this exclusive color. This tube is colored with many different colors to come up with this tube, it also has three different sizes of black fleck. Not to mention it has our unique craw and garlic scent, and as always, it is loaded with salt. To See Jeff\'s Video about some of our baits, including the "Riverbottom" Tube check out these videos. He catches a nice smallie in the video on the tube.

threads[3] = new thread(3670273, 'Intersex Bass', 'Guppie', '09/16/09', '08:53 PM','Scientists are finding that male fish, especially smallmouth and largemouth bass are becoming feminized by exposure to a class of chemicals called "endocrine disruptors" whic mimic hormones. These feminized or intersex male fish have eggs forming in there testes. Since black bass seem especially impacted by this, this should be an important issue to fishermen.
These compounds are found in many different products from plastic water bottles to birth control pills to personal care products. Many are ingested by people and excreted, where they go through treatment plants with little reduction in there levels.

The river was up and chocolate milk. I gave them the option to postpone but they chose to go anyway. The conditions were tough and they toughed it out catching a number of nice fish.
This pic is of Emma\'s first NB smallie! Caught on a War Eagle Screamin eagle SB..

They caught a number of fish on HH mudpie purple tubes, right bite black neon tubes and a couple on rattle traps.
This past summer has been consistently high and murky conditions. I hate to say it but if we get a tropical storm up the east coast we are going to be in trouble!!

threads[8] = new thread(3590399, 'July NBO report', 'jetboatgreg', '07/27/09', '06:51 AM','The water has come down to summer levels and cleared up from the muddy conditions which we had for the entire month of June.
Fishing has been steady over the past couple of weeks. The topwater bite finally came alive this past weekend as we boated a number of good fish on Cavatron Buzzbaits and Crippled Killers.
Hawghead mudpie and mudpie purple tubes have also been responsible for high number of our fish. We did a color comparison of our local crayfish over the weekend. We caught several, layed them out on the deck and compared several baits and tubes with them.....The HH mudpie purple is almost an identical match at this time of year!
We have also been doing well on War eagle Spinnerbaits and Bandit 20 Crankbaits.
My lure of choice as of late has been the Swimming Jig. We have been absolutely crushing everything on this bait. It is probably one of the most versatile baits for this time of year. As you can work it like a crankbait or work it like a tube. This saturday we caught a 6lb walleye on that bait working it slow in 9\' of water.

threads[12] = new thread(3495024, 'Memorial day weekend NBO report', 'jetboatgreg', '05/26/09', '07:58 AM','Saturday i fished till noon with one of my fishing partners...It was a very productive am with 84 quality fish mostly in the 15-17" range all on SB\'s.
Sunday i had an all day charter..it was basically the same pattern as the day b4. SB\'s in grass beds. Clients had an even 50 for the day. If you add up the dropped fish, they would have been pushing close to 100 fish. She caught a big old catfish that pulled her around the boat for quite a while. And on the last cast of the day she caught a 28" musky!
Monday i had them again for 1/2 day am charter. The bite slowed in the am from the previous 2 days as the thunderstorms pushed the fish deeper. They did manage 31 fish and the icing on the cake was this fish. A solid 21"!
